Xiaomi is really on the high this year! If you are planning to buy a budget range smartphone, then Xiaomi is the most obvious choice that everyone prefers. Like the Motorola Moto One Macro, the Redmi 8 gets a glossy finish on the rear and a tear-drop notch on the front end.

The Xiaomi Redmi 8 packs in the entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 octa-core processor. It is paired with Adreno 505 GPU to handle graphical tasks and 4GB RAM to handle everyday tasks. To store data, there is a 64GB of internal storage that can be extended up to 512GB using the microSD slot. Talking of the software, it runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 9 interface.

The main camera on the rear end houses a 12MP lens with different focal lengths and a 2MP depth sensor to handle depth effects. Photos taken are of great clarity that make it compete with Apple iPhone XS Max. There is an LED flash that does a great job in poor lighting conditions. The rear camera can record videos in 4k at 30fps. On the front end, there is an 8MP sensor that can capture sharp and colorful pictures. It further supports portrait mode and additional lighting effects.
