In 2020, Xiaomi Mi 10 series ought to be the first one to come out from the Chinese company. Like other manufacturers, even Xiaomi is trying to introduce the dual model strategy- Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro. It seems like the Mi 10 Pro is bringing in some bells and whistles into the smartphone market. With the Xiaomi Mi 9 successor, the company is trying to deliver flagship performance in the mid-range sector. Apart from the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, another major 5G smartphone is seen online in the form of Mi 10 5G. From a couple of leaks, here is what we can expect from the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone.
Xiaomi is in plans to unveil both Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro in February 2020. To mention, this is just the information surfaced online and isn’t officially given by the company. Renders suggest the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro release date alongside the standard variant at an event at MWC 2020. The MWC event takes place starting from February 24 to February 27. So, you can expect a separate event from Xiaomi on February 22.
As the device appears online, there are already AnTuTu benchmark scores cropping up for the Xiaomi Mi 10. It seems with a Qualcomm SD 865 processor along with Adreno 650 GPU. As per the scores, the Mi 10 is the first smartphone to break up the 500,000 thresholds. It is about 15 percent faster than the present Android smartphones. If the standard variant is such powerful, we can expect the pro variant to render similar or more performance.
Additionally, the device offers three storage configurations, including the 12GB of RAM with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of storage. Sources do mention the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro offering four rear cameras with a 108MP primary unit. In addition to the primary sensor, you will find 48MP, 12MP, and 8MP sensors. From the leaked images, we can see the display with a pill-shaped hole punch as in Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus. The front end has a big narrow bezel display and a big cutout to house dual selfie sensors. There is no presence of the pop-up camera as in Mi 9T Pro. The curved edges on either side are quite attractive. The latest leaks hint for the upcoming Mi 10 Pro in UAE having a 6.5-inches curved OLED display offering 90Hz of refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Also, the device gets the support for 66W fast charging and 40W wireless charging. Though there is no specification of reverse wireless charging, it should probably support it.
Talking of the Mi 10 price in UAE, it should start at AED 2032 for the 12GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration. Whereas the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model carries a price tag of AED 2192 and premium configuration 12GB RAM + 512GB storage option is priced at AED 2406.
