Sony’s 2018 Handsets May Sport All-Screen Displays

December 8, 2017

In a move to follow the latest trend, Sony may also introduce its next two handsets with an all-screen or near bezel-less displays in UAE and Saudi markets. Rumors state that one of these Sony’s smartphones will be a flagship model and a successor to the Xperia XZ Premium.

According to a Georgian website, the flagship may get less-rounded corners and a glossy back. It might sport two speakers at the front and the 4K display screen will probably measure around 5.5-inches. Besides, the display screen will likely include the fingerprint sensor, mostly at the bottom. If this happens to be true, this will be the first phone to have such a setup.

It is reported to have dual cameras in the rear but the exact pixel size is unknown. This model will be probably chipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor and may get 6GB of RAM. The storage space of 128GB is good enough for storing huge amount of data.

Meanwhile, the other handset might also sport a dual camera setup and two front-facing speakers. But it may have the fingerprint scanner on the back panel itself.

So far, we could gather only these details about Sony’s upcoming smartphones. However, these are just rumors, and we still have to wait for an official update to know about these handsets in detail.
