It’s not very long since the news of Samsung Galaxy X came out. Now, the brand is back again with some updates about the much awaited Galaxy A8.
Along with the A8, Samsung has also unveiled its A8 Plus model, both of which will fall in the mid-range segment. Once launched, these handsets may give tough competition to LG V30 Plus and a few others in the segment, especially in UAE and Saudi markets.

Samsung Galaxy A8 Launch Date:
Latest sources reveal that the A8 will be up for sale next year, probably from January itself. This will be released in three attractive colors to select from including Black, Orchid Grey, and Gold. Meanwhile, we can anticipate the launch of A8 Plus also at the same time, with some additional features.
Samsung Galaxy A8 Price in UAE:
As of now, exact details of Samsung Galaxy A8 Price in UAE are not available yet. But it is rumored to be priced somewhere around AED2160, while the Plus model might be sold at around AED2200. Look for more updates in this space about the price details.
Samsung Galaxy A8 Specifications:
In terms of specifications, the South Korean phone maker passed the same design treatment of the Galaxy S7 to its A3, A5, and A7 models. This one, highlighted the smartphone with front and rear glass, waterproof display, enhanced storage and upgraded cameras. With the Galaxy S8, it introduced the Infinity Display with the SuperAMOLED panel. Hence, the A8 might get the same specs but with a screen size of 5.6 inches. Whereas the Plus model may sport a slightly bigger 6-inch display.
Looks like, the camera section of A8 will receive much applauds for the reason being, dual front camera setup. It is probably the most highlighted feature, which missed out on the S8 as well. If the news is true, the camera will feature Live Focus with adjustments to Bokeh effect. It may sport both 16MP and 8MP lenses at the front, and a 16MP f/1.7 camera in the rear.
As in the Galaxy S8, it is said to have the same camera software that lets you try different options like Food Mode, adding stickers and so on. Besides, it is also rumored to support the Samsung’s Gear VR headset, thus making it the first in the series.
Under the hood, it will be powered by the Octa-Core Exynos processor and run on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat system, with possible upgradation to Oreo 8 soon. The device will be supported by a 3500mAh battery with fast charging facility. Furthermore, it will come with 4GB RAM, 32/64GB internal memory and gets dual-SIM support.
