The first Poco smartphone was launched in August 2018 with the name Poco F1. It was a great hit and is one of the best selling smartphones. After that, we haven’t seen any from the company. It leads to the rumors that the brand is almost dead. Now, with the Poco X2 launch, it seems like Poco is back again. In an interview, it is said that there will be more than one Poco phone- Poco X2 and Oppo F2. Here is everything we heard so far about the upcoming Poco phone.
After a long wait, Xiaomi is finally opening up the Poco F1 successor- Poco X2 in Dubai. And the company made an official statement on January 27 that the Poco X2 release date is on February 4. Now, it is unsure whether it will be the Poco F1 successor or a completely new product carrying different price segments. Few reports claim that the upcoming Poco smartphone may take similarities with the Redmi K30. Having said that, as we are just a week away, it is worth to wait until.
A teaser from one of the dedicated websites hints for the upcoming Oppo X2 in Dubai has an “extreme refresh rate” display. It gives in a seamless touch response, and even the advanced Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with a liquid cooling mechanism is on board. Furthermore, the image shows up the bottom of the handset, which suggests the device to be like Redmi K30. It is expected to run on Android 10 with MIUI for POCO out of the box. You can expect the device to have a nearly 6.67-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Internally, there is an 8nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor. On the rear is a quad rear camera with a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor. It is good to see a dual front camera setup of 20MP primary and 2MP secondary sensors. There will be a massive 4,500mAh battery with 27W fast charging support. Overall, the Poco X2 in UAE features high-end specs suitable for everyone, especially the gamers. Also, it appears like the device gets the headphone jack as well.
The Poco X2 targets mainly the entry and mid-range sector. While many prefer Redmi K20 Pro, but the upcoming Poco smartphone is likely to give it a fierce competition with its price. Not to forget! Poco F1 is still on sale and is doing reasonably well in the mid-range segment. We will have to wait a little longer to know the exact price of the Poco X2 in Dubai.
