Honor 10 Review: Budget Smartphone Featuring AI camera

Here it is! Huawei sub-brand Honor just launched another new flagship with an impressive set of specifications, notch design and AI camera. This is the sixth consecutive launch of the Huawei smartphones, especially from its sub-brand Honor. After the Honor View 10 release, it is now the Honor 10 in Dubai that is yet to take over the smartphone market. As for now, the Honor 10 is limited to few countries and is likely to appear in other international markets very soon. Honor 10 Design

The Honor 10 is said to inherit most of the specifications from Huawei Mate 10 and Huawei Mate 10 Pro, but with its different design. Taking the inspiration from Huawei P20, the latest Honor flagship now boasts a display notch with a glass rear. Talking about the processor, the Honor 10 in Dubai has HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC which is the same chipset found in the latest Huawei P20 Pro. It further has a Mali-G72MP12 GPU to handle those graphical tasks. The GPU performance matches up the performance of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. On the memory front, the Honor 10 is coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. Surprisingly, Honor preferred not to include the microSD slot. Honor 10 Camera & Battery

Keeping all other Honor 10 specs apart, but the Chinese company opted to step ahead in the camera sector. The device now gets a dual rear camera of 16MP and 24MP with f/1.8 aperture. One of the major features that differentiates the Honor 10 camera from other smartphones is the use of artificial intelligence. The camera now has the capability to analyze the scenes through machine learning and can change accordingly. Irrespective of the mode chosen, the Honor 10 AI camera has the capability to adjust the mode within the app. On the front end, there is a 24MP sensor of f/2.0 aperture. The Huawei Honor 10 is available in two different storage variants. So, the Honor 10 price in UAE varies according to the storage variant chosen. While the device is likely to appear soon in the international markets like UAE, we expect the Honor 10 price in Dubai to give the toughest competition to OnePlus 5T. It may carry nearly the same price tag as Samsung Galaxy S8.
