Good news for Pixel phone users in Dubai and Saudi!
AT&T has started rolling out the latest Android Oreo 8.1 update to Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL devices. If you are a Pixel user on this network, then be alert for an update notification very soon on your device.
This new update is sized about 531.7MB. So, need to charge up your device and use a strong Wi-Fi connection to install it quickly.
Once installed, this Oreo update brings a few changes to your handset. Updation from Android 8.0 to 8.1 is the major change you can notice. Besides, it gives you access to features like HD Voice Calling.
Generally, HD voice calling amplifies noise cancellation as well as wide-band audio in order to improve the call quality. But, as it is based on the AT&T’s network, voice calling is possible only in those areas with good network support.
In addition to this, the Pixel 2 and Nexus 5X handsets are receiving fixes for audio problems. The Pixel models are now receiving a few more color options in the display menu as well.
Other additions include the Neural Networks API from Google, new light navbar, battery level for Bluetooth accessories, fingerprint scanner and autofill improvements as well.
