After the long waits and speculations, the South Korean smartphone company Samsung has finally made an official announcement of its new device – Galaxy Note 9. Right from the time the news about the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in Dubai broke out, it created of expectations among buyers and smartphone industry alike. The reason for the huge hype surrounding the device is mainly because of the immense success of its predecessor, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
Galaxy Note 8 stunned everyone when it came out in 2017. It instantly became one of the desirable smartphones of that year and even now, its demand and popularity are still intact. There are quite a lot of reasons because of which, the handset became a major hit. Anyways, before the announcement of the handset, almost all the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 features and specifications were leaked. Based on the sources, this new handset will come packed with a bezel-less display and might be smaller in size than the Galaxy Note 8. The screen size may be of 6.3-inches with a pixel resolution of 2960×1440. Optics-wise, the Galaxy Note 9 is reported to sport a dual camera set up in the rear featuring 12MP and 12MP sensors. Whereas the front selfie shooter will have an 8MP sensor along with LED flash and other supportive aspects.
Similar to that of Apple iPhone X, the new smartphone may come equipped with the face ID technology for the device unlocking purpose. Besides this, it may also use an iris scanner just as seen in Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus and even in the last year’s Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. Apart from these, there will also be the Bixby button, a massive 4000mAh battery, Bluetooth-enabled S Pen and so on.
Talking about Samsung Galaxy Note 9 specifications, the handset may come with both 6GB and 8GB RAM options with Exynos 9810 chipset under the hood and will run on the Android 8.1 Oreo version. These variants will have an internal memory of 128GB and 512GB respectively, along with a microSD card slot for expanding the storage space.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 release date in UAE was announced on 9 August 2018 and its shipping will start on 24 August. Moreover, pre-orders for this handset have also started and very soon, buyers can get it from the brand’s authorized stores.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 price in UAE for the entry-level 6GB variant is around AED 3670. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 price in UAE will be even higher for its high-end variant, which comes to around AED 4590.
