HMD Global seems to be all set to reveal its new smartphone – Nokia 7 Plus at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2018 event. Along with this, the company might also bring in the high-end Nokia 9.
The rumors about 7 Plus started cropping up ever since the release of Nokia 6 (2018). Recently, a few images of Nokia 7 Plus UAE were leaked online, which might indicate a near launch.
Based on the leaked images, it appears that the device sports a large touchscreen display of about 6-inches and 2160×1080 pixel resolution. This will be the first handset from the brand to come with 18:9 screen ratio. It will feature a sturdy aluminum body at the back, and the front will get a Corning Gorilla Glass.
The rear panel is also seen with a dual-camera setup that is emphasized by dual-color accents around the module. Just below the camera, a fingerprint scanner is also noticeable in the images.
When it comes to specifications, the Nokia 7 Plus Dubai might have the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 SoC under the hood and is likely to run on the Android 8.0 Oreo system. The handset may come with 4GB RAM and internal memory of 64GB. Just like its predecessors, it will mostly carry the microSD card slot too for increasing the storage capacity.
In terms of optics, it is said to sport the Carl Zeiss’ dual-camera setup with 12MP and 13MP lens at the rear and 16MP shooter at the front. The rear camera might also be assisted with Bothie effect, 2x optical zoom and pro mode as well. When released, it might be placed alongside other phones like Apple iPhone X, LG V30, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and a few others, especially in terms of camera specs.
Other common features anticipated in the upcoming device include a durable battery with quick charge support, improved speakers, and USB Type C port among others. As far as the Nokia 7 Plus price in UAE is concerned, it is anticipated to be priced at AED1101 or so.
