LG unveiled LG Q7 back in May that is claimed to be an affordable alternative to the LG G7 ThinQ. Now, it is back again with a newly upgraded smartphone that is ought to be the successor of last year LG Q8. The LG Q8(2018) will be the new variant in 2018 with the massive 6.2-inches FullVision display, built-in stylus, GIF editing, and military grade protection. This is in fact known to be a phablet with the Stylus Pen support and it ought to be the budget alternative the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 handset. We already got to hear some of the rumors pertaining to the release of LG Q Stylus Pen which suggests for the presence of the stylus. Now, making it true, it has launched the new LG smartphone but with the same naming series of LG Q8 that was used last year. The new LG Q8 (2018) comes in with a 6.2-inches full HD display with a screen resolution of 2160 X 1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. It measures at 160.1 x 77.7 x 8.4 mm. Some of the highlights of the latest LG Q8 specifications include military-grade durability with MIL-STD 810G standard, HiFi Quad DAC support, and IPS 68 water and dust resistant. Considering the features included, the company claims that the device will definitely be a great choice in the mid-range segment. Despite being the mid-range handset, the device is given with an inbuilt stylus pen with pop-memo. It is powered by 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor that is clocked at 1.8GHz. The processor has coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which can be further expandable for up to 2TB using a microSD. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. As for its optics, the device gets the support of a single rear sensor of 16MP coupled with LED flash and PDAF. On the front end, it packs in a 5MP front shooter with a super wide angle lens that let to gather all friends into the selfie. To fuel the device, the LG smartphone is equipped with a 3300mAh battery with a Quick charge 3.0 support. Other connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C, and FM radio. Additionally, there is a fingerprint scanner on the rear end that can unlock the device and any apps on the handset. It also supports the payment platform using the LG Pay.

It is unsure of when the device will go on for sale. However, we predict the LG Q8 price in UAE to be nearer to AED 1642. Moreover, it is likely to ship in two attractive shades including Moroccan Blue and Aurora Black. We just need to wait and see how this price tag could affect the sales of the upcoming LG smartphone.
